Billy and Anna | Singapore Engagement Session
It’s the first time for The Gallery to set foot in the Lion City. I’ve been to Singapore a couple of times and done engagement shoots but it’s nothing like what we’ve done with Billy and Anna’s pre-wedding photos. The initial plan was to start at the Canevagh Bridge right in front of the Fullerton Hotel and walk to the City Hall to capture the city’s Colonial Architecture. Unfortunately, there were a lot of constructions on going on around the area and the City Hall was closed because of the upcoming 50th Birthday of Singapore so we just continued walking and took our time in front of the Esplanade in Marina Bay.
What I love most about this city, aside from the modern architecture, is that it’s very photographer-friendly unlike Manila, where you need a permit to shoot almost everywhere. With that being said, it’s not that hard to capture exceptional photographs given a beautiful location. The sun was out, there were no security guards to bother us, and we had the beautiful canvas of Singapore city and a really fun couple to work with. Nothing could’ve been more perfect.
